In 1989, after the Romanian Revolution, the world
bore witness to the Romanian Orphan situation.
From those orphans, two young boys would be adopted.
Izidor Ruckel was eleven years old, Alex King was six years old.
Both boys grew up and wanted to help those left behind.
One followed his dream to try to help by writing his story
and becoming a public speaker. The other wanted the world to hear his voice through the films he would create. Both men wanted what happened to them before their adoptions, to never be repeated. They wanted the world to know that all children have worth and purpose...
....if just Given their Chance.
They joined forces to show what can be accomplished when

I just had the opportunity to watch "Given Our Chance". What a touching and inspiring film. Thank you for advocating for the children who still desperately need families! Such a great documentary. God bless you!

Alex and Izidor, Thank you for an insightful, educational, genuine, honest, and touching look at your lives and those of others. Not only was the movie so well put together and the speakers well chosen, but I felt so inspired - to know more, to do more, to help more. Great work - thank you both.

Alex and Izidor, I watched the documentary last night, and wanted to thank you for opening up your lives so openly and honestly. I am praying that God will use this tool to touch many hearts and open up many minds to what we can do to help others in need . I am very proud if both of you for being so transparent about your own weaknesses. I am sure it encourages many of us to now focus on what we can do instead of limiting ourselves and our Great God who can do all things!
